Caravan storage site to go under the hammer with £90,000 guide price

A caravan storage site in the village of Little Eaton, near Derby, is set to go up for auction later this month with a guide price of £90,000.

The 0.8-acre plot, located close to the A38, is currently used for caravan storage and includes space for 26 caravans alongside 15 lock-up storage units.

According to auctioneers, the site is already generating an annual rental income of around £6,000.

The land will be included in a national livestream auction hosted by BTG Eddisons Property Auctions on 26 March.

Andrew Parker, partner and auctioneer at BTG Eddisons Property Auctions, said the site offers strong investment potential.

He said: “This site has a lot of investment potential. It’s in a great location in the sought-after village of Little Eaton, just a 10-minute drive from Derby, and there’s a wide range of new uses it could be put to, subject to planning consent.”

He added: “At the moment it is a good little business in its own right, generating rental income from caravan storage and lock-up units. However, there is clear scope for a new owner to enhance the site further, for example through the addition of steel storage containers to increase capacity.”

Little Eaton is a popular residential village on the northern edge of Derby, with strong transport links via the A38, providing easy access across the East Midlands.

The auction will form part of a three-day national property sale run by BTG Eddisons, which was formed by bringing together auction brands including Pugh, SDL Property Auctions and Mark Jenkinson.

More details, including how to bid, are available via the BTG Eddisons Property Auctions website.
