An award-winning burger brand is heading to nearby Nottingham – and it’s offering locals the chance to get involved before it officially opens.
The Beefy Boys is on the hunt for “burger testers” ahead of the launch of its new Queen Street restaurant in Nottingham this June.
Those who secure a table will receive 25% off their food bill – in return for giving feedback on the menu, service and overall experience.
The offer runs between 25 May and 10 June, with limited spaces available via advance booking only.
The new site will take over the former George’s Great British Kitchen unit in the city centre, marking the brand’s sixth UK location.
Founded in Hereford, The Beefy Boys has built a strong following across the country, combining American-style burgers with locally sourced ingredients – including 100% grass-fed, dry-aged Herefordshire beef.
Its menu is expected to include signature items such as:
- The Beefy Boy
- The Dirty Boy
- The Oklahoma Onion Boy (named Best Burger at the 2023 National Burger Awards)
- Loaded pastrami fries
- Chicken wings and strips
- Vegetarian options including the Beanie Boy
Co-founder Anthony Murphy said bringing local diners in early is key to getting the opening right:
“We want to make sure everything is spot on – and the best way to do that is to enlist the help of local people.”
The restaurant is due to officially open on 19 June, but those taking part in the “burger tester” phase will get an early look – and a discounted meal.
⚠️ Tables must be booked in advance to take part and receive the 25% discount.
