A burglary was reported at a property on Graham Street, Ilkeston on Sunday 11 January 2026, police have confirmed.
According to the local Safer Neighbourhood Team, the incident took place between 7pm and 8pm. Officers have confirmed that arrests have been made in connection with the burglary and there is no ongoing risk to the community.
Police have also confirmed that high-visibility patrols will be carried out in the area over the coming days by officers and Police Community Support Officers to provide reassurance to residents.
Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area at the time, or who may have information that could assist the investigation, is asked to contact Derbyshire Constabulary on 101, or report online, quoting occurrence number 26*19895.
Residents are also being encouraged to review home security advice, including guidance on keeping doors and windows secure and using approved security products.
