Emergency services swarmed Wilton Place this morning after reports of an altercation involving a knife.
🔹 Call came in just before 11.30am – police were on scene within 6 minutes
🔹 Man in his 50s taken to hospital with a minor arm injury
🔹 Weapon recovered by officers
🔹 Man in his 40s arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm
Another day, another cordon. This kind of thing is becoming far too common in our town – and residents are fed up.
📍 Police say this was an isolated incident and that the men were known to each other, but high-visibility patrols are continuing in the area.
