Several Ilkeston residents appeared before Derby Magistrates’ Court among the latest cases heard recently.
Jamie Scarlett, 23, of Broadway Park Close, Ilkeston, guilty of threatening behaviour, namely at Cherrywood Smokehouse Bar & Grill on Nottingham Road, Langley Mill. He was handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 court costs.
Vincent Foster, 32, of Brampton Close, Ilkeston, guilty of drug driving, namely cannabis, and driving without insurance. He was handed a 16-month driving ban, fined £200, and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £104 victim surcharge.
Mitchell Calladine, 23, of Lissett Avenue, Ilkeston, was guilty of attempted burglary with intent to steal. The case was adjourned.
Aaron Brennan, 33, of Godfrey Drive, Ilkeston, was guilty of assault by beating. He was handed 70 hours of unpaid work, a 10-day rehabilitation activity requirement, and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £85 court costs.
Liam Baker, 35, of St Mary Street, Ilkeston, was guilty of harassment, assault by beating, and intentional strangulation. The case was adjourned.
Liam Meenan, 40, of Godfrey Drive, Ilkeston, guilty of threatening behaviour. He was jailed for eight weeks suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £85 court costs.
Daniel Gulson, 31, of Byron Street, Ilkeston, guilty of stealing from One Stop. The case was adjourned.
Shaunna Ufton, 27, of Eaton Avenue, Ilkeston, guilty of causing serious injury by careless or inconsiderate driving. The case was adjourned.
Arran Chaplin, 35, of Flamstead Road, Ilkeston, guilty of cocaine possession, cannabis possession, and drug driving. The case was adjourned.
