A number of people from Ilkeston and the surrounding area have appeared before Derbyshire courts in recent days, according to the latest published court listings.
The cases include offences relating to dangerous dogs, drink driving, assault, driving offences and drugs.
Dangerous dogs case
Dalton Lyon, 27, of Norman Street, Ilkeston, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of dangerous dogs, namely XL Bullys called Suzie and Savannah.
He received a two-year conditional discharge. The court also made a destruction order for the dogs and ordered him to pay £400 compensation and a victim services surcharge.
Driving while disqualified
Kirsty McArthur, 35, of Station Drive, Smalley, pleaded guilty to driving without insurance and driving while disqualified.
She was handed a community order requiring eight days of rehabilitation activity, disqualified from driving for six months and ordered to pay a £100 fine and court costs.
Assault and criminal damage
Nathan Middleton, 34, of Ilkeston, pleaded guilty to criminal damage to domestic property and assault by beating.
He was ordered to pay a £500 fine, along with court costs and a victim services surcharge.
Drink driving offence
Marcin Staszewski, 44, of Wirksworth Road, Kirk Hallam, pleaded guilty to driving while above the alcohol limit.
He was disqualified from driving for 15 months, reducible by 15 weeks if he completes a safety course. He was also ordered to pay a £400 fine, court costs and a victim services surcharge.
Drug and driving offence
Harry Thompson, 38, of Albert Street, Ilkeston, was found guilty of possession of crack cocaine and pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis during the investigation of a suspected driving offence.
Thompson failed to appear in court for sentencing and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
