When it comes to upgrading your home, it’s not just about fresh tiles or a shiny new tap – it’s about trust, craftsmanship, and having a team that genuinely cares about getting things right. In Ilkeston, one name has steadily built a reputation for all three: Aquarius Home Improvements.
A Local Company with a Strong Reputation
Based right here in Ilkeston, Aquarius Home Improvements isn’t a faceless national chain. They’re a family-run business with years of experience in designing, supplying, and fitting kitchens and bathrooms. Their ethos is simple: top quality service at a fair price, backed up by a team who take pride in every job.
Customers often highlight the company’s personal touch. Instead of being passed from salesperson to surveyor to fitter, Aquarius offers a seamless service – from initial design consultation to the final polish. That continuity means homeowners get exactly what was promised, without the confusion or miscommunication that can happen elsewhere.
Kitchens and Bathrooms That Stand Out
Aquarius specialise in two of the most important (and most used) rooms in the house: the kitchen and the bathroom.
Kitchens: Their bespoke designs balance style with practicality, giving Ilkeston households spaces that work for everyday life while still looking stunning. Bathrooms: Whether it’s a modern walk-in shower, a luxury family suite, or a compact en-suite makeover, Aquarius are known for delivering a professional finish every time.
Each project is tailored to the client’s space and budget – no cookie-cutter approach, just smart designs that make the best use of every corner.
Customer Feedback
The feedback speaks for itself. Many customers mention how tidy the team is during installation, how respectful they are of people’s homes, and how quick they are to resolve any small snags. That level of service has seen Aquarius earn repeat business and plenty of word-of-mouth recommendations across Ilkeston and beyond.
Beyond Bathrooms and Kitchens
Aquarius don’t just stop at the basics – they’re also well-known for offering the “little extras” that make a house feel like home. From tiling and flooring to lighting and fixtures, the team can handle the whole project start to finish, removing the stress of having to juggle multiple contractors.
Community Presence
It’s also worth noting that Aquarius are big supporters of their local community. They recently teamed up with Ilson Gnome for a fun billboard campaign on Nottingham Road, showing that they’re not just about business – they’re part of the town’s fabric, too.
Final Thoughts
If you’re thinking of transforming your bathroom or kitchen and want a company that combines design expertise, reliable fitting, and a genuine local touch, Aquarius Home Improvements is well worth a call. They’ve earned their place as one of Ilkeston’s most trusted names in home improvement – and their growing reputation suggests they’ll be helping shape the town’s homes for many more years to come.
