Nottingham Forest have parted company with manager Nuno Espírito Santo, less than a year after he took charge at the City Ground.
The 50-year-old Portuguese coach has faced mounting pressure following Forest’s poor start to the new Premier League season and reports of a strained relationship with club owner Evangelos Marinakis.
While speculation had been building for weeks, confirmation came today that Nuno’s tenure has ended. Forest are now searching for their fifth manager in just over two years.
Nuno, who previously managed Wolves and Tottenham Hotspur, guided Forest to safety last season but struggled to build momentum this term.
