If it feels like Eugene Coaches have been busy lately, that’s because they really have.
The Ilkeston-based company have had a strong start to the year, with recent trips to the Trafford Centre and Liverpool both proving a big hit with passengers. The response has been so positive that another Liverpool date has already been added, with bookings now open for Saturday 2 May.
One trip that’s already completely sold out is Disneyland Paris in May. For anyone who missed out, there’s good news – Eugene Coaches have confirmed they’re now planning an additional Disney trip in August, and are also working towards adding a Christmas Disneyland trip later in the year.
Another standout this year has been the popular Diddly Squat Farm and The Farmer’s Dog Pub day trip. Demand has been so strong that a third date has now been added for 9 May – and anyone interested is advised to book early, as this one tends to sell fast.
Listening to customer requests, the team have also arranged a trip to see ABBA Voyage in London on Sunday 10 May. It’s already proving popular, with just a few tickets remaining.
For those after something a little more traditional, Skegness and Ingoldmells also feature in the upcoming schedule, offering a classic seaside day out that remains a firm favourite with passengers year after year.
They’re also expanding their longer breaks, with plans under way to announce a Turkey and Tinsel week away to Babbacombe, aimed at those who like to get festive plans sorted well in advance.
Closer to home, there’s still plenty coming up. February includes a Castleton hiking trip on Saturday 7 February, followed by a Bury Market visit on Saturday 21 February. Looking ahead to March, a trip to the Black Country Living Museum on Saturday 21 March is also lined up, with many more days out and holidays already in the diary beyond that.
Customer feedback continues to be a real strength, with passengers regularly praising the friendly drivers, relaxed atmosphere and the little touches that make the journey feel like part of the day out.
With demand growing, Eugene Coaches have also confirmed they’re looking to expand their fleet further, and are currently advertising for additional coach drivers – another positive sign for a local business on the up.
