Santa is heading back to Ilkeston – and you’ll hear the jingling of his sleigh bells across town very soon!
Members of Coppice Steam are once again bringing Father Christmas out of his snowy hideaway and transporting him around Ilkeston on his classic sleigh. Children (and plenty of grown-ups!) will be able to meet Santa as he tours our streets in the run-up to Christmas.
This year, Coppice Steam are raising money for Ilkeston Community Hospital, supporting the vital work it does for local people. If you spot the sleigh and stop to see Santa, please donate generously – every penny helps our hospital continue to care for the community.
A huge thank you to Coppice Steam for keeping this much-loved tradition alive and for giving up their time to bring festive magic – and vital fundraising – to our town once again.
