A company has applied to expand its Goods Vehicle Operator’s Licence to include a site at New Stanton Park in Stanton-by-Dale.
KB Event Limited, currently based at Plymouth Avenue, Brookhill Industrial Estate in Pinxton, has submitted an application to add a new operating centre at:
Plot 1, New Stanton Park, Lows Lane, Stanton-by-Dale, Ilkeston, DE7 4QU.
According to the public notice, the application seeks permission to keep:
- Up to 40 goods vehicles
- Up to 60 trailers
at the site.
The notice was published on 12 February 2026.
Under the operator licensing process, owners or occupiers of land (including buildings) near the proposed operating centre who believe their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected can make written representations to the Traffic Commissioner.
Any representations must:
- Be made in writing
- State the reasons for the objection or concern
- Be sent within 21 days of the notice being published

New Stanton Park has been the subject of significant development activity in recent years, with a number of industrial and logistics proposals coming forward on the former Stanton Ironworks site.
